We are delighted to announce that applications are open for bursaries for the next cohort of FEDIP Future Digital Leaders. If you are early in your informatics career, do apply and join a cohort of like-minded aspirant digital leaders. We are also excited about our Annual Conference – this year the theme is the future of health and care informatics and we have two packed days planned. See more below.
Progress is being made on appointing a new Chair of the Faculty of Health and Care Board and we hope to be able to announce this exciting news in the June newsletter. We are also recruiting two important Board roles – Treasurer and Events Lead. Volunteering gives you the opportunity to grow your professional skills, help meet people outside your current network and learn new things about technology and about yourself!

Faculty of Health and Care Board Vacancies
Help us make a difference to digital health and care by joining our Faculty of Health and Care Board. We have two vacancies for volunteer roles – Treasurer and Events Lead:
Treasurer: The Treasurer oversees the Faculty of Health and Care income and expenditure and reports on a regular basis to the Board. If you have experience of creating financial reports for committees that would be ideal, but training is provided. Events Lead: This role oversees the organisation of BCS events, including webinars and conferences, and BCS presence at external events and reports on a regular basis to the Board.

Applications Open – FEDIP Future Digital Leader Bursary (Cohort Four)
The Future Digital Leader Bursary is a competitive programme that supports emerging leaders working in any branch of health and care informatics.
Bursary recipients receive a free 12-month membership to a FEDIP Professional Body, their FEDIP registration fee paid, mentoring, exclusive webinars, conference access, and more.
Applications are open to professionals across all sectors—clinical and non-clinical. Deadline: 1st June 2025
